Bio
Jenny Nakamura is the Senior Director of K12 Partnerships at EVERFI, a Blackbaud company that is driving social change through digital education. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the development of K12 strategic partnerships with national non-profits, edtech organizations, and other key institutions to amplify and elevate EVERFI’s scalable technology solutions to communities across the country. Prior to her current role, Jenny served 8 years on EVERFI’s K-12 Implementation Team, supporting strategic district and school partnerships across the Northeast.
She has devoted her career to helping students learn essential life skills, first as a high school biology teacher in Prince George’s County, Maryland and then as an educator supporting students in Japan, as a part of the Japanese Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. Throughout her time in the classroom, Jenny developed and designed a new science curriculum for the district, collaborated with parents, community organizations, and local resources to develop a College and Career Readiness Program, and served as a cultural ambassador.
