Bio
He leads a team delivering Banking and Finance Technology solutions for various Banking and SACCO clients in the East Africa region. In this role he has successfully delivered transformational Projects such as the Kenya Police SACCO Core Banking and Loan Origination Systems, Mwalimu National Sacco Core Banking System and PROFITS® for SACCOs Software as a Service (SAAS) Solution. He has a wealth of experience in Banking, Financial Technology, Payments, Infrastructure and Telecommunication solutions. Before Netcompany-Intrasoft, Gerrard worked in the Fintech and Telecommunications sectors where he successfully delivered several key and complex Telecommunication and Mobile Money projects. Gerrard holds a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Telecommunication and Information Engineering, a degree (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Project Management. He is also a certified Project Manager (PMP/Prince2 Practitioner/Agile), Business Analyst (CBAP), Public Accountant (CPA) and Networks Engineer (CCNA).
