Natalie Papon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. During the pursuit of her degree, Natalie sought an internship with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office of Victim Services (OVS) as a Volunteer Intern Advocate. She assisted advocates in ensuring crime victims received adequate notice of their rights under Arizona statute. Natalie was hired as a Victim Advocate Assistant upon graduation in 2021. Subsequently, she was promoted to a Victim Advocate with OVS in October 2021. She worked with crime victims in the investigation, prosecution, and post-conviction phases of their cases. Natalie was recognized in 2024 as a recipient of the Arizona Attorney General “Victim Advocate of the Year” Award and was nominated in 2025 for the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys’ Advisory Council Advocate of the Year. Further, she provided critical advocacy in complex fraud cases, human trafficking, elder abuse, fraud, homicide, and domestic violence. After several years as an advocate, she transitioned into her current role of State Victims’ Rights Education Administrator and remains based in Phoenix. Natalie is passionate about providing victims' a better understanding their rights, problem-solving, and the criminal justice system.
