Scott Porter is Director of Business Development for Advanced Engineering Consultants, Ltd. (AEC), a small business mechanical, electrical, fire protection, plumbing and technology engineering design firm headquartered in Columbus, Ohio with additional offices in Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Virginia Beach. Scott has over 22 years experience as a client relationship and business development professional who builds strategic partnerships and provides competitive intelligence for AEC resulting in increased brand awareness and revenue for the firm.
He is a proud member of the Kittyhawk Post where he serves as the Small Business Liaison Officer. He also serves as the Vice-Chair for the SAME Small Business COI Outreach Committee and is 1st Vice President of the Columbus Chapter of Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO). An avid theatre lover, Scott is a Co-Producer of a community theatre company in Columbus, Ohio where he acts, directs, and sweeps the floor. He is married and a proud father of two boys who are currently attending college.
