Victor Segovia has 26 years professional legal experience in litigation and trials in California State courts and Federal courts. He has prosecuted criminal cases in both Los Angeles and San Francisco as a deputy District Attorney with many jury trials to verdict. Mr. Segovia has extensive experience in banking legal matters with FDIC where he earned the FDIC Mission Achievement Award; and with Wells Fargo Bank as Senior Corporate Counsel. Victor Segovia currently practices in Contra Costa County and handles cases through trial representing individuals charged with crimes.
Mr. Segovia earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. After working for a few years as a Senior Corporate Analyst with Wells Fargo Bank, he returned to school and earned his J.D. from UC, Hastings School of Law.
Victor Segovia is a member of the Contra Costa County Criminal Conflict Program. He is routinely appointed by the court as counsel. His unique combination of experience in banking where he focused on uncovering Financial Crimes, Money Laundering and Fraud, and his deep experience with jury trials in large city District Attorney offices provides advice backed by experience in cases all the way to the US Supreme Court.
