Suzanne is a compassionate lactation consultant and parenting advocate with over 20 years of experience supporting families. She began her journey in 2003 by founding Merry-Go-Round in Kingwood, a space for moms seeking both community and lactation guidance. In 2014, she played a key role in creating a breastfeeding-friendly environment at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas and partnered with Dr. James Liu to provide specialized care for families navigating lip and tongue ties. In 2016, she launched Bayou City Breastfeeding to offer more personalized, holistic support rooted in the belief that parents are the true experts on their children.
Suzanne is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with additional training across various areas of breastfeeding and infant feeding. She currently serves as President of HALCEA, helping to grow and strengthen the lactation community. Through her work, Suzanne strives to bridge the gap in today’s overwhelming parenting landscape—offering not just lactation advice, but whole-family support.
