Tanya Kitaigorovski, Supervising Attorney, Legal Research, Analysis & Publications Practice, Delaware-New Jersey National Lawyers Guild’s Mass Defense Program. Tanya is an attorney at a fortune 500 company in New York City. Tanya previously served as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Division of Law in the Pensions and Financial Transactions Section. During her time as a Deputy Attorney General, Tanya represented various governmental entities in administrative hearings, superior and appellate courts.
Tanya graduated from the Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was the Research Assistant for the school’s conflict management program, in which capacity she was responsible for liaising with the Southern District of New York, the District of New Jersey and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority to secure representation for pro se plaintiffs and defendants. During her time at Seton Hall, Tanya also served as the President of the Student Veterans Association.
Tanya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Maryland. She is fluent in four languages: English, Russian, Hebrew and Ukrainian.
In her capacity as a Supervising Attorney for the Legal Research, Analysis & Publications Practice of the Delaware-New Jersey National Lawyers Guild’s Mass Defense Program, Tanya assists with public records requests and the compilation of the DE-NJ NLG Mass Defense Program’s Legal Monograph Series, “Legal Compendia for Community Organizers and Activists,” which will be available to the public on the DE-NJ NLG website.
Tanya is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
