Jason Tippeconnic Fox is the Tax Program Coordinator at the Oklahoma State Historic Preservation Office (OKSHPO). He is Comanche/Cherokee, an enrolled citizen of the Comanche Nation, and holds a PhD in Art and Architectural History from the University of Virginia. His research interests include the architecture of American Main Streets and Indigenous architecture. Prior to joining the OKSHPO, he was an architectural historian at the Idaho State Historic Preservation Office for five years, managing the National Register and historic tax credit programs. He is grateful for the opportunity to continue his public service career in Oklahoma and enjoys working with Oklahomans across the state to preserve their historic and cultural resources.
