Jamie Gillespie has over 20 years of experience working as a HCPC Registered Prosthetist. A motorcycle accident during 1994 resulting in a below knee amputation led to a change of career from the military to the prosthetic industry. During his career to date, Jamie has worked within a busy North London NHS Hospital, spent time living in Iceland working with a leading prosthetic manufacturer and has provided support to prosthetic teams and amputees in over 20 countries. Since 2006, Jamie has worked at Pace Rehabilitation within their Buckinghamshire clinic where he is a Director, treating clinician and provides expert witness services. Clinical support is mostly provided to amputees of working age where legal claims are in place. He has personal and clinical experience with advanced designs of prostheses allowing for the potential for high levels of function and mobility.
