Joe Opal is the Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Sepro America. He got his start in the plastics industry in 2007, working as an Application Sales Engineer with EMI Corporation providing technical and sales support for end-of-barrel, conveyors and end-of-arm tooling products. Eight years later, he moved into a Regional Sales Manager role for Absolute Robot Inc., offering beam robots and automation systems to molders in the Midwest and Western regions of the US and Canada. In all, he has more than 12 years of industrial equipment sales, application engineering and project management experience, having worked most recently as a Manufacturer’s Sales Representative for several suppliers of plastics-processing equipment.
Joe has been married for 20 years and is blessed with two beautiful daughters. Hobbies and interests include golf, playing drums and guitar, 3D modeling and DIY projects for the home or friends.
