Bio
As a trained facilitator interested in community development, capital campaign fundraising, leadership training, and strategic planning, Kristi Wagner serves as a connector of people and ideas.

In her decades of work in organizational and business development in South Dakota and beyond, Kristi has designed and led her clients through a variety of teambuilding and needs assessment processes to help propel their work into the future. Kristi is known for her signature facilitation style and energized creativity that, when coupled with her unmatched instincts to adapt to her audience, effectively draws out an audience’s most meaningful ideas to accomplish the best collaborative outcome. Kristi’s client roster is as diverse as her passion and includes educational institutions, healthcare organizations, major corporations, non-profits and member organizations.

In addition to her role as the owner of the Rushmore Center for Leadership, which exists to encourage a shared vision for the continual growth and development of a community or an organization, Kristi also serves as Director of Organizational Relations and Community Coach on contract with Dakota Resources, a South Dakota-based advocacy organization that connects capital to capacity to positively impact rural communities. Kristi also contributes her ideas to numerous boards of directors which includes her heartfelt passion for Shriners International. Her husband Kip has been a Mason / Shriner for 4 decade’s and served as Potentate for Naja Shriners - Deadwood, SD in 2018 and serves on the Board of Governors for
Shriners Children’s Twin Cities. Kristi’s father, Charlie Fischer, served as Potentate for Yelduz Shriners - Aberdeen SD in 1992.

Kristi lives in Whitewood, South Dakota, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Public Relations from the University of South Dakota.
