Liz taught PSHE education for 5 years before joining the Association and firmly believes in the importance of quality PSHE education for all young people. She's passionate about global education and has worked with schools in over 20 countries — sharing best practice and collaborating on international, cross-curricular projects. Liz has also completed a Masters in Education, which focused on policy and the power of language, as well as on how to deliver difficult topics safely and effectively in the classroom.
In addition to leading CPD training and writing resources, Liz has responsibility for overseeing the Association's Quality Assurance process for resources
Outside of work, Liz can usually be found attempting to run long distances, planning her next trip away or paddling in the sea somewhere along the Kent coast.
