Jeff Shiner

Director of Cybersecurity, Authenta at Micron Technology

Jeff Shiner, a well-established cyber-security expert, is currently driving a Micron cyber-security program called Authenta.™ He is building an ecosystem of silicon-to-cloud partners to leverage a new type of memory silicon with integrated secure element functions. He leads this Authenta™ program, developing its strategy and planning its market expansion with large OEMs, IoT service providers, and Cloud services. Jeff also is currently Chairman of a GSA security working group composed of cybersecurity experts from Microsoft, Intel, ARM and various vertical industry experts. Prior to his work in Micron, Jeff brought to market other disruptive technologies at top semiconductor companies like AMD, Spansion and Cypress, for next generation data-center solutions and digital content products. His background has focused on development of strategies and ecosystems that enable disruptive technical and operational advancements for OEMs and end users.
