Jason Hammond was appointed on 15 January 2019 as Chief Executive Officer for QBE Asia based in Singapore.
Prior to this appointment, Jason was the CEO for QBE North Asia seconded from QBE Australia.
Jason joined QBE in 2004 as the State Manager for NSW and subsequently spent the next 10 years as General Manager for Workers Compensation in Australia where he was responsible for the management of QBE’s Australian Workers Compensation Division and managed a team of over 1200 and a GWP budget in excess of $AUD1.45B. More recently, he was the General Manager of QBE’s Australia Broker Distribution business.
With his extensive experience of managing large teams and a proven track record of strategic and operational management, Jason leads QBE Asia across geographical and function lines driving a stronger, simpler and more customer centric organisation.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), and a Masters of Business Administration.
