Jane has worked in diabetes for 30 years, initially as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse in Derby, then Assistant Director of Warwick Diabetes Care and later taking up a post as Diabetes Research Associate at Leicester Diabetes Centre.
She gained a Master of Science Degree in Diabetes from Warwick University and completed her extended and supplementary prescribing in 2005.
She has extensive experience in working across primary, secondary, and academic areas of diabetes care and management.
In her current primary care role, she manages a caseload of 1,300 diabetes patients.
