Martin Schiestl joined Infineon in 2023 as a system application engineer. He currently leads the engineering team responsible for the humanoid motor drive system. Mr. Schiestl earned his Master's degree in Mechatronics and Smart Technologies in 2017. Before graduating, he began his career at the same institute in April 2016, focusing on developing GaN applications. In addition to his technical responsibilities, he lectured on communication technologies, high-frequency technologies, and power electronics. He was recently awarded the PCIM 2025 Young Engineer Award for his publication 'Compact, Highly Integrated 1 kW Peak Motor Drive'
