Bio
Ally is the Vice-President of her Parents Association and Co-secretary of InterParents, which represents the families of 28,000 pupils in the European Schools system.
Based in Italy, Ally is also the Sustainability Working Group lead for the parents at her children's school, and for 13 sister schools. Ally champions a whole-school strategic approach, based on her school’s strategy which she co-created with an expert lead.
She coordinates local actions and events, and is currently supporting a project to upcycle pallets and pots to create an outdoor teaching space for Primary children. She runs monthly meetings with parents from the 13 sister schools to try and create a unified approach and keep everyone engaged and inspired! She also contributes to the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) policy-making process with other systems-level stakeholders.
