Bio
Christine H. Moran is the Managing Director of Multifamily Financing at the Illinois Housing Development Authority (“IHDA”). IHDA’s Multifamily Finance Department is responsible for the development and preservation of quality affordable rental housing throughout Illinois. IHDA administers the Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and various other state and federal subsidy programs. Additionally, IHDA partners with lenders, developers, municipalities, local housing authorities, not-for-profits, community groups and others to deliver low-cost financing options through bond and first mortgage loan programs.
Christine is a skilled real estate finance professional with extensive experience spanning all commercial property types. Prior to joining IHDA in September 2013, Christine served as Senior Vice President at the Royal Bank of Scotland where she was responsible for underwriting and executing large fixed and floating rate first mortgage and mezzanine loans on a variety of property types. Christine also gained experience through her work with the securitization team to market loans for sale in the securitization and bank syndication markets. Christine is a Certified Public Accountant and has worked at other private sector firms including JMB Realty, Heller Financial and Nomura Securities.
