Nicholas Hutchins is an associate and member of Woodruff, Spradlin & Smart’s code enforcement practice group. He acts as Deputy City Prosecutor for a variety of cities and is responsible for prosecuting municipal code violations as well as red-light citations generated through automated enforcement. Additionally, he handles code enforcement property cases from inception including obtaining inspection and abatement warrants, criminal prosecution, and receivership cases.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate Mr. Hutchins worked for 12 years with the Garden Grove Police Department as a Community Services Officer in assignments including patrol as well as acting as a liaison between the police department, the district attorney’s office, and the court.
