Anna Maas has nearly 25 years of experience in cultural history, historic preservation, and environmental planning. Prior to working on the Federal Helium history project, she was the lead author of the Pentagon Historic District National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) Nomination Update to incorporate the story of 9/11 and completed numerous architectural surveys of Cold War-era resources for the Army, Navy, and Veterans Administration. Based in her home state of Virginia, she loves traveling and working across the U. S. on a diverse array of projects from local preservation planning to large complex compliance projects.
