Roseanne adopted her daughter Cassie from Nanning, China, when she was just 15 months old. At 17, a senior in high school, Cassie took her own life. She suffered from anxiety and depression, and unfortunately, she kept the extent of her struggle with mental illness to herself. Roseanne has made it her mission to keep Cassie’s spirit alive and to share her story in hopes of breaking the stigma of suicide, and bring awareness to mental health. She is currently working to launch a non-profit, “Cassie’s Cause”, to help fund these initiatives.
