Matthew Rutledge

President, MD Labs

Matthew brings an abundance of leadership and career experience to his role as President of MD Labs. As a Pre-medical student learning about how to care for patients, a medical device consultant mentoring physicians in the OR, as a hospital volunteer directly caring for patients, as an undergrad learning laboratory technique, or as a tradesman understanding laboratory systems and infrastructure, Matthew leaned on these experiences to team up with Denis Grizelj to found MD Labs and bring quality patient monitoring toxicology testing to a community in need over ten years ago. When MD Labs was founded, it was the only laboratory in the State of Nevada offering this kind of testing. Now, having added pharmacogenetic testing, MolDx infectious disease testing, and recently, COVID-19 and respiratory testing, MD Labs continues to respond to the needs of our patients and serve the entire U.S.

Matthew oversees scientific operations, facilities, R&D, and test development for the lab.
