Stella Magana is a Digital Forensics Analyst at e.KRAAL Innovation Hub. It is Kenya's first Cybersecurity Innovation Hub. e.KRAAL was founded in 2018 to find ways to keep innovative, talented and creative Kenyans in the country. Aim is to retain, nurture and promote the country's top cybersecurity talent and foster the country's social and economic growth.
Stella Magana has been a member of SheHacks Kenya since its inception in 2016. Shehacks KE is a community of Women in Cybersecurity from various backgrounds and counties in Kenya. Founded with the aim of providing women in cybersecurity a platform to interact and help each other grow in a healthy environment. Stella is currently the Technical Lead and is responsible for conceiving and developing hypotheses, new methods, techniques and approaches to address critical cyber security technical problems and programs.
Stella Magana presented a paper on “Link Analysis and Data Visualization in Forensics” in the very first SheHacks HackFest. Stella and her team represented Kenya in the UN Cyber Security Challenge on “How to Help Discover Trends and Secrets of Online Terrorist Communications in Kenya by using Cyber Threats Datasets.
