Dr. Sapna R. Amin has over 19 years experience in Oncology Pharmacy. She currently serves as the Pharmacy Services Manager at one of the largest Pharmacy Services (IPS) in the nation. She received her B.S and her Doctorate of Pharmacy degrees from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. After working in arena of Regulatory Affairs pertaining to Medical and Drug Information, she completed a Specialized Residency in Oncology Pharmacy Practice at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Amin serves on numerous multidisciplinary committees pertaining to research and pharmacy operations. She served as one of the lead authors on the Hematology Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) Investigational Drugs Best Practice Standards publication in addition to collaborations with American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), and Institute of Safe Medication Practice (ISMP). She currently serves as the Chair of the Investigational Drugs Committee Subgroup for the Alliance of Dedicated Cancer Centers (ADCC)and Committee Co-Chair for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Investigational Pharmacy Sub-Group.
Dr. Amin is active in various research protocol collaborations and is nationally recognized as a leading thought leader and subject matter expert in the area of Investigational Pharmacy Practice.
