Thor is a forensic Investigator with TCG Digital Forensics, a leading South African digital forensics practice, his area of specialization is Crypto and Blockchain investigations.
Thor has worked on numerous large, medium and smaller crypto investigations, his experience includes some 30 reports on Mirror Trading International and implicated individuals over an 18 months period.
Thor has conducted presentations for various governments and government agencies Internationally and works with both local (RSA) and international law enforcement agencies on de-cyphering investigations and assisting with legal representations. He is co-author/contributor of two Masters papers on Crypto investigations and user case investigations, one currently to be presented in Greece in June 2023. He is the author of two Forensic Blockchain Investigative Reports that are legal precedents in the South African legal system and a third that proved the flow of Crypto funds to the court resulting in a win for the prosecution team.
He has worked extensively on QLUE and is a regular contributor and presenter on the software.
