Monette Stephens is a San Francisco, California-based monetization expert focused on the intersection of banking, finance, and technology. Skilled at maximizing corporate and transaction value, she specializes in transaction preparation (private placement, M&A, regulated/compliant token issuances), partnerships, go to market and growth strategies. She has brought over 50 companies to market and has been involved in transactions worth over $300M. She was an expert with the Department of Justice on the Microsoft Anti-trust case and co-founded and ran a FINRA registered Broker-Dealer. She obtained her Series 7, 24 and 63 FINRA registrations and has had multiple exits through IPO or M&A. She holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and taught Computer Science at UCSB. A pioneer in global distributed systems architecture and security, she's recently been involved in the emergence of distributed ledger, blockchain, and globally compliant digital security issuances.
Monette recently returned to San Fransisco from the World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland where she spent time with world leaders focusing on women's issues.
