Bio
David is an experienced farm vet and veterinary consultant. He has significant experience in production-animal practice, having worked for a large practice in the Midlands for several years, where he also founded Midlands Advanced Breeding Services. He is an RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Sheep Health and Production, one of just nine vets to hold such status.
David now splits his time between NoBACZ Healthcare (as their international business development manager) and independent veterinary consultancy (with clients including farms, animal health companies, and educational institutions).
He is a trustee of RCVS Knowledge, Sheep Veterinary Society committee member, recipient of an RCVS Knowledge QI Award for his work in ovine obstetrics, and he is delighted to sit on the editorial board of UK-Vet Livestock journal. Most recently, he was named the BVA Young Vet of the Year (2024).
