Bio
Toni has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) from Charles Sturt University. Toni worked in research and extension in animal nutrition with the Victorian Department of Agriculture, before commencing in the position of Communications Officer with the Weeds Cooperative Research Centre in 1997. Toni was then employed for 11 years with the Kondinin Group as Research Coordinator, heading up their research team. She wrote articles and research reports on a range of agricultural issues for their monthly publications Farming Ahead and Group Talk, as well as articles for newsletters and journals, and presented a number of conference papers. Toni has also coordinated and edited numerous books during her professional career. In 2011, Toni joined the Graham Centre for Agricultural Innovation, taking up the position of Partnerships and Engagement Manager. In this role, Toni engages with industry stakeholders across the value chain, developing innovative research programs with a focus on delivering solutions for crop and livestock systems.
