Bio
Dr. Mauri is actually Assistant Professor at the Department of Oncology and Emato-oncolgy of the University of Milan, serving as Interventional Radiologist at the Division of interventional Radiology at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan.
He graduated in 2007 at University of Milan School of Medicine and achieved Board Certification in Radiology at the same university in 2012. In 2010, he held a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at St George’s Hospital, University of London, and in 2011 a Research fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston.
He worked as a Consultant Radiologist at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, San Donato Milanese, General Hospital of Busto Arsizio, and as Interventional Radiologist at European Institute of Oncology in Milan.
He published 151 papers on peer-rewieved journals (H-index =30), is editor of one book on laser ablation, coauthor of three book chapters and presented more than 100 abstracts at national/international meetings.
He is section editor of the International Journal of Hyperthermia, member of the editorial board of 3 peer-reviewed journals, invited reviewer for several peer-rewieved journals.
Clinical activity and research are directed to Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, in particular image guided thermal ablation, with a specific focus on thyroid ablations, and thyroid ultrasound.
