As a financial advisor, Eric is passionate about sharing his knowledge with clients. He is a lifelong learner with a demonstrated focus on enhancing his understanding and knowledge concerning all aspects of financial planning. By researching the latest strategies and exploring a multitude of products and their applications Eric is able to help guide clients through the complicated maze of saving, investing and spending.
Eric has clients in many stages of life although he has developed a specialty in the area of retirement planning. While many advisors focus on assisting clients with the accumulation of assets Eric focuses his efforts on helping to ensure that his clients are able to maintain a comfortable lifestyle in retirement by guiding them in the transition from savings to spending.
Eric has been employed in the financial services area since 2003. He began his financial services career as a credit union manager before deciding to start his own financial advising practice in 2009.
Eric has a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois – Springfield. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin’s credit union management program. In 2016, Eric completed his Retirement Income Certified Professional coursework from the American College of Financial Planning and now holds a designation of RICP®.
Eric and his wife, Anne, a former elementary school teacher and current Vice President of Judy Financial Group, Inc., have three children: Allie, Jason and Kathryn. They enjoy playing golf when the weather is conducive — and when the leaves start to change color they turn their attentions northward as passionate fans of the Chicago Bears.
