Bio
Raj Bhat has been a Consultant Interventional Radiologist since 2006 at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, NHS Tayside. He has done his Radiology and IR training in Scotland.
His interests are Aortic Intervention, Endoleak treatments Peripheral Vascular Intervention, PAVM and Prostate artery embolisations, trauma IR and more recently Stroke Mechanical Thrombectomy.
He is a long standing member of BSIR and served in various committees. Currently the incoming Chair of the Vascular Special Interest Committee. He is a Fellow of CIRSE.
He has served as TPD for the EoS region and Regional Specialty Advisor for RCR and is committed to postgraduate teaching and training.
He has served as Chair of Scottish National Planning board sub group for IR and Chair of North of Scotland IR regional planning group in the past.
