Liang Yang started programming since the age of 14 in Microsoft Internet Relay Chat (mIRC). Liang Yang was able to develop bots that could assist him in handling the channels that he was administering. He was administering 30 over channels and a bot helped Liang Yang automatically authenticate users and provide automated access rights to the different group of people.
Liang Yang later went on to Singapore Polytechnic to take on a Diploma in Infocomm Security Management where he graduated with Merit. Here, he was exposed to computer hacking, hardening of systems and abstract high-level theories on computer security.
He went on to National University of Singapore for Bachelor in Computing (Information Systems) with Honours and specializes in Services Science, Management and Engineering. Developing enterprise resource planning systems in service-oriented architecture furthered his passion for technology.
Liang Yang have taken part in hackathons through his academic career and have performed exceptionally.
