Dr. Vamsee Pamula

Founder & President, Baebies

Vamsee K. Pamula is Founder and President of Baebies, with a mission to deliver any diagnostic test, anywhere, and to everyone. He is currently interested in the development of inexpensive and accessible screening and diagnostics products. Prior to this, he was founder and CTO of Advanced Liquid Logic Inc (sold to Illumina). He serves as a principal investigator on several projects funded by the NIH, served as a peer reviewer for many journals and funding agencies, has given numerous talks on digital microfluidics, has published over 100 articles, authored 5 book chapters and a book, and has over 420 issued and pending patent applications worldwide. He has a PhD in electrical and computer engineering from Duke University. He is an entrepreneur in residence at Duke University and has also served on PhD thesis committees as an adjunct faculty member at Duke.
