Vanessa Richter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy and water sectors. Currently serving as an Opower Executive at Oracle Utilities since August 2015, Vanessa has held several key positions at Oracle including Vice President of Opower Sales, and Practice Director of Energy Engagement. Previous roles include Vice President at Conservation Services Group, where her leadership extended over programs throughout the Western US, and Director of Land Development managing large real estate projects in Florida.
Vanessa's earlier career included strategic roles in land development and civil engineering, underpinned by a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arizona and additional training in Pragmatic Marketing. Vanessa is also active with industry leadership and mentoring roles with the Peak Load Management Association, iuCX, and Utility2030's SPARK program.
