Ana Pedersen, CEO, Government & Insurance Solutions at HRS currently leads one of Australasia’s largest claim-related accommodation programs serving most of Australia’s Tier 1 P&C insurance carriers. She is a global accommodation strategist for some of the world’s largest multinationals for more than two decades across Australia and the United States. Her customer first approach shows the potential of technology in enabling insurance carriers to accommodate their customers quickly and safely following damage to their homes. Her expertise extends to unravelling the complexities of CAT response, working effortlessly with government, NGOs and other third parties during a catastrophe and pandemic ensuring displaced survivors and vulnerable citizens find safe shelter quickly. Most recently her team has led the pandemic housing response for one of the largest states in the United States, managed the housing response in the 2022 ‘1-in-1000-year’ flood event in Australia and provided safe shelter of displaced Ukrainian citizens during the unprecedented invasion by Russia.
