His career began in the oil and gas sector, where he developed a strong foundation in both upstream and downstream energy risks. Over time, his focus shifted toward the renewable energy space, where he has become a trusted expert in underwriting complex and emerging technologies. Prior to joining FM Riaz held senior roles at several leading firms, including AIG, Hiscox, Chubb and Marsh.
