Bio
Passionate about design and societal challenges, Cédric Fettouche strives to experiment his committed vision into new sectors, and share his learnings back to the design communities.
Graduated from IED Madrid in 2016 as a design strategist, his professional journey started with two years of volunteering in Lesvos island (Greece). As he gained experience as a humanitarian project coordinator and communication officer, he went on to work on the ship Alan Kurdi in Central Mediterranean and in Tunisia.
In 2021, he founded the NGO Humanitarian Designers to bridge the gap between design and humanitarian aid and started a community that has now grown to 500 members. That same year, he moved to Brussels and joined the European Commission as a design strategist to work on the New European Bauhaus Initiative. Today, he focuses his practice on humanitarian design in connection with the academic sector.
