Bio
My name is Lila Vazquez and I am an Electrical Engineer within SSE Renewables. I recently completed the two-year Engineering Graduate Programme with SSE, which gave me opportunity to get experience across several business units, including engineering teams, operations and business development. I’m currently working on the Dogger Bank Wind Farm, a very exciting role supporting the development of a group of offshore windfarms which will eventually provide electricity for over 4.5 million homes! Prior to joining SSE, I studied Energy Engineering in Madrid and then moved to Edinburgh to do an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems.
During my free time I enjoy baking, reading and painting. I’m also a keen skier and love travelling.
