Pravin Jadhav is a post graduate chemical engineer with over twenty years of experience. He has contributed to the India’s Initial National Communication to the UNFCCC, research on alternative refrigerants under the Montreal Protocol and the technology development for the CO2 capture from the large thermal power plant’s post combustion flue gases and its sequestration. He has provided consulting to many corporates in SE Asia in development of sustainability strategies, disclosures and carbon markets.
He started career with research at the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune and National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur. His research area was in the field of energy and environment and he has published eight research papers in the international journals and conferences. Currently, he is heading the Environmental and Social Risk function at RBL Bank, Corporate office, Mumbai.
