Jeff Mittelman is an aviation consultant with 40 years of aviation experience. He is the founder of Mittelman Aviation Solutions, LLC specializing in the areas of aviation safety, data collection and sharing, UAS NAS integration, ADS-B, and aviation weather. Most recently, Jeff has been working with aviation institutions on their safety-related data collection and sharing activities. Prior to consulting, Jeff worked at the MITRE Corporation’s Center for Advanced Aviation System Development for 39 years supporting several FAA and international aviation programs. Jeff’s hobbies include keeping tropical fish, collecting funky mantle and wall clocks, smoking meats/BBQ, taking Caribbean vacations, photography, and doing “Harry homeowner” repairs and improvements. Jeff has been married for 36 years (to the same person!) and has two adult children and two weird cats.
