Mr. Jonathan D. Prescott is a CBP Officer with more than 15 years of experience with the Office of Field Operations. He began his career with CBP in 2007 at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. As part of the primary processing unit at JFK, he played a crucial role in safeguarding our borders against potential threats, inspecting, and admitting travelers and ensuring a seamless flow of travelers throughout JFK. He regularly participated in several temporary duty assignments along the southern border, the Global Entry Vetting Center, Operation Allies Welcome, and at CBP Headquarters.

In 2014, Officer Prescott transitioned to CBP headquarters permanently where he held several key positions with the Electronic System Travel Authorization, the Traveler Communication Center, the Trusted Traveler Program, and the Commissioner’s Situation Room.

Currently Officer Prescott works as a Program Manger assigned to the Biometric Entry Exit Strategic Transformation office. As part of the biometric team, he is responsible for advancing CBP biometric capabilities by leveraging cutting edge technology and expanding the implementation of biometric entry and exit in the air environment to record the arrival and departure information of travelers.

Officer Prescott is a United States Navy Veteran where he proudly served with the “Fabolous Four” Naval Mobile Construction Battalion- 4 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
