Chris has been a part of HMRC’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) programme since 2020 initially in preparing customers and their agents for MTD for VAT and since 2022, in MTD for Income Tax. Chris leads on customer engagement and collaboration with the agent, software and business sectors, regularly creating and delivering content to help all sectors get ready and prepare for mandation in April 2026. Chris was also involved in the successful implementation of Postponed VAT Accounting which went live in 2021.
