Luke is a partner in the Employment team at Burges Salmon and has over 15 years’ experience of advising major employers in the public and private sector on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law related matters.
Luke has particular expertise in large scale redundancy and restructuring projects across multiple sites and jurisdictions and more recently, has been advising a number of FTSE 100 and 250 listed companies on their employment response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other experience includes acting in complex discrimination employment tribunal proceedings and providing strategic advice on board level issues such as executive appointment and termination as well holiday pay, gender pay gap reporting and off-payroll working given recent legislative and case law developments.
Luke speaks regularly on employment matters, both in-house to clients and externally and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
