Ryan is the Manager of Marketing & Origination in TC Energy’s Power & Storage business located in Western Canada. In this role Ryan is responsible for structuring bilateral contracts for both the purchase and sale of electricity in Alberta. In 2019, Ryan originated the 74.25MW offtake agreement between TC Energy and Perimeter Solar from the Claresholm Solar project and continues to evaluate opportunities to provide TC Energy with access to new renewable energy.
Additionally, Ryan actively manages GHG liabilities for TC Energy in Canada and is focused on contributing to the organization’s long-term sustainability. Ryan has worked in the Alberta electricity industry for 14 years and manages the hedging and retail power business for TC Energy where he advises clients on power market fundamentals, hedging strategies and environmental policy risks.
