Susan King is the Director of Strategic Trade and Border Security at CRDF Global. She oversees a diverse portfolio of international capacity building programs in the areas of border management and nonproliferation. Susan has 25 years of experience managing international cooperative assistance programs for government clients and private foundations in such areas as nonproliferation, peace and security, environment, governance and economic development. Susan got her start in nonproliferation as a graduate researcher at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies of the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) where she was contributor to The Nonproliferation Review. Susan earned a Master’s in Public Administration from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California and a Bachelor’s in Soviet Studies from Lewis and Clark College in Oregon.
