Richard is the Vice President of Specialized Investigations, which is a statewide company in California, Arizona, and Washington, with over 80 employees. He brings over 35 years of experience as an investigator and has worked in management for over 22 years. Richard manages the daily operations of the business, along with business development and client retention. Richard has spoken at many international, national, and local association conferences and events, as well as training many Investigators and Insurance industry SIU and Claims personnel. Richard graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Richard has the following certifications and additional credentials:
• Certified as a Fraud Examiner by the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), membership requires a minimum of 12 years’ experience and education in fraud-related work, (1993);
• Designated as a Certified Professional Investigator (CPI) by the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI);
• Certification in Workers’ Compensation Claims Administration (WCCA) by the Insurance Educational Association (IEA);
• Certified Fraud Specialist by the Association of Certified Fraud Specialists (ACFS);
