Ross is the President and CEO of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA), the professional standards body for independent Social Compliance Auditors and Audit Firms. With 70+ Member Firm and nearly 5500 Member Auditors, APSCA continues to advocate for the competency, credibility, and independence of the social compliance auditing industry. With 12 employees located in 3 countries, APSCA is a global presence with a multi-stakeholder approach to engaging everyone in the social compliance auditing ecosystem.
Ross created the Corporate Social Compliance program at Kimberly-Clark before moving to L.L.Bean, Inc. for 10+ years where he led their Global Compliance program. He has worked with
countless major industry initiatives, national and international governmental advocacy, Boards of Directors. While at L.L.Bean, Ross was the lead auditor for over 100 social compliance audits
and led a global audit team conducting hundreds of audits and worker engagement efforts annually.
As a lawyer by trade, Ross was an early APSCA supporter, helping write auditor standards and advise on the form and content of the auditor exam. Ross is based in the State of Maine, USA.
