Dr Elly Hanson

Independent Clinical Psychologist

Dr Elly Hanson is an independent Clinical Psychologist and researcher. A key focus of her work is supporting the development of good quality PSHE education. She does this through research with young people (recent projects focussing on digital technology and its affordances and risks for young people); synthesis and analysis of evidence; and developing resources. Elly has researched and written on the subject of pornography and its implications for young people, parents and educators, and she is currently involved in further projects on this subject. Elly also works in the overlapping sphere of tackling abuse and trauma, working with law enforcement, social work teams, survivors and the voluntary sector.
