Julia Judish, J.D., is special counsel with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, in their Washington, DC office. Her practice focuses on employment law and nonprofit governance, and she serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing critical and strategic counseling. Judish has received multiple honors for excellence in legal services and is recognized in Lawdragon’s Guide to the 500 Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyers (2021). She has over two decades of experience representing private-sector employers, nonprofit organizations – including professional societies, 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, and certification organizations – and government contractors. Judish regularly advises on legal compliance, personnel best practices, and resolution of sensitive employee and organizational disputes, as well as diversity and inclusion, ADA accessibility, affirmative action, credentialing, governance, ethics and disciplinary codes, and related areas.
