Bio
Rob Simora has over 25 years’ experience leading information technology and product development teams for respected companies in many different industries. He is currently Chief Product and Technology Officer for TrueLearn, a leader in helping physicians pass their high-stake exams. He joined the company in 2020 and has responsibility for the product, engineering, content and data functions. Prior to joining TrueLearn, Rob was CTO for Cengage, CTO and Vice President, Product Management for WebAssign, CIO and Vice President, Product Development for Railinc, and Director of IT at Tekelec. He cut his technology leadership teeth with General Electric where he graduated from GE’s Information Management Leadership Program and then held multiple IT management roles around the globe, including in Amsterdam and Hong Kong.
Simora graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. degree in information management systems and finance. He earned an Executive MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Simora also completed General Electric’s Information Management Leadership Program and he is a member of the North Carolina Technology Association, the Triangle Technology Executives Council, and the Product Development and Management Association.
